The Ride de Vine is a fully-supported, noncompetitive ride, not a race, on the rolling hills of the winding country roads around and through historic Warrenton North Carolina. There is something for every ability along the safe and scenic 10-mile, 25-mile or 55-mile routes to choose from. The event features a socially-distanced, time-trial style start; chip timing with results and start/finish photos; SAG (Support and Gear) vehicles that patrol the clearly marked routes; and well stocked rest areas.

Start/Finish at the Seven Springs Farm and Vineyard. A vineyard souvenir (while supplies last) and an event t-shirt are included with registration. Don’t ride? Tour the vineyard by strolling among the vines, sample the local wines, jams and sauces and food truck fare, enjoy a dance party by the pond or simply sit back, relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings.

Proceeds support the Jack & Jill of America Foundation helping children and families.

Friday Evening Social

Join us at the vineyard on Friday evening between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM for music and mingling. Pick up your ride packet containing your event souvenirs and cyclist number, get dinner at the food truck, and sample some wine.

Accommodations:

If you plan to arrive the before the event, consider staying at a hotel in nearby Henderson, NC - only 20 minutes away. You can also enjoy one of the many campground areas at Kerr Lake or contact the Seven Springs Farm and Vineyard to inquire about boondocking with your personal RV on site.

Ride Start Times

To minimize gathering size at the start and maintain a COVID safe environment, we will use a single-file start similar-to a time trial.

Cyclists may start any time during the window for your route distance by lining up single file (maintaining proper social distances) along the designated driveway.

55-mile loop: start any time beginning at 9:00 AM
25-mile loop: start any time beginning at 9:45 AM
10-mile loop: start any time beginning at 10:15 AM
