The DMV Rollers Cycling is a break off of The Spokesmen; a club Eugene Brown and Randy Bivens were once members of and have built long lasting relationships with this group. The will be hosting their annual "Friends & Family" ride, consisting of two route options, both leaving from the Glenn Dale Splash Park, with a Meetup time of 7:00 AM, roll at 7:30 AM.

11901 Glen Dale Blvd, Glen Dale, MD

The first is a 45 mile route to the Savage Mill, a historic cotton mill complex in Savage, MD converted to a shopping/restaurant complex. The route is flat to rolling, with about 2,200 feet of climbing, and the pace will average 16-18 mph on the flats (THIS IS NOT A RIDE FOR BEGINNERS!). Rest stops are planned for miles 19, 22 (both with food and restrooms) and 35 (restroom only).

The second is a 20 mile "Back in the Saddle" route to Vansville Park geared toward new riders and riders easing back onto their bikes after an injury, medical procedure, life event, etc. The route is flat to rolling, with about 840 feet of climbing, and the pace will average 14 - 16 mph on the flats. One rest stop is planned for mile 10 at Vansville Park (restroom only).
